BLOG: Con Prep

Good Morning Ya’ll! I hope your weekend is a great one! I am planning to have a great one too! I am actually leaving the house today and hanging with a friend. Looking forward to it! Then tomorrow its WORK WORK WORK!

I’ve been so busy with other stuff that I have been neglecting my art duties so I gotta scramble a bit to get things done. Last night I finally finished and placed an order for the new prints for the upcoming Cap City Comic Con! Here’s a peek:

Next I gotta look at my table stuff, the wire racks, plan the layout and place another amazon order what I am missing. Check the prints I have. Bag up original art and sketch covers. Do an inventory of comics I got to bring to the show and finish up Sketchcards that I will be bringing to the show like I always do. The show is coming up early July! Make your plans now to come out and see me (and everyone else I guess). Its likely to be my only appearance for the year!

After finishing the con prep, I gotta get rolling on these pope cards and get them out the door before the deadline. I am devastatingly late on getting a few completed and mailed into my editor for the campaign. (Bad Adam!) Something cool happened this week as a fellow artist was in a horror themed bookshop in Chicago and one of my old horror comics was spotted on the rack! Red book, right in the middle:

I am behind on new Starslam art this week but I have been busy coloring issue 7 and drawing issue 8 of Pleasant Life! Here’s some peeks:

I’m having fun with it, honestly. I know I got a few issues to go until the story ends, and its starting to sink in a tiny bit. I cannot wait to get this story fully completed for ya! Of course you will be able to read it right here for free and get the physical copies of the books probably next year if all goes well.
